Campa Chormaic 2012 concluded Friday past and just like the first week, this years camp was a rousing success. More than seventy children and young people took part with the majority of them experiencing the Irish language for the first time.

The camp was full of spraoi agus spórt, craic agus ceol with the young people gaining sporting skills under the guidance of qualified GAA coaches, they also sang and danced when not out on trips. So, it’s no exageration to say that the children and young people thoroughly enjoyed the camp and learning Irish, it is also fair to say that the same enthusiasm was to be seen amongst the staff!

There was a special ending to the camp with a presentation and Cormac’s brother Dónall on hand to offer the children and young people a few inspiring words of advice.
