A chairde, tá Campa Chormaic ag teacht aníos!

Tosaíodh ar Champa Chormaic a reáchtáil i dTír Eoghain seacht mbliain ó shin i ndílchuimhne ar an Ghael iomráiteach agus peileadóir Uile-Réalta, Cormac Mac an Áilín a d’éag go tragóideach sa bhliain 2004 de bharr láigeacht chroí neamhghnách.

Tá an campa bunaithe ar na suimeanna b’ansa do Chormac mar a bhí, an Ghaeilge, na cluichí CLG agus oidhreacht dhúchais.

Beidh campa na bliana seo a reachtáil i gColáiste Feirste. Beidh an chéad seachtain ar siúl ar an 30ú Iúil go dtí an 3ú Lúnasa agus tá an campa seo do dhaltaí Gaelscoile.

Tá an dara seachtain ar siúl ar an 6ú Lúnasa go dtí an 10ú Lúnasa agus tá fáilte roimh chách, go háirthe daoine óga as scoileanna Béarla.

Campa Chormaic is coming up!

Campa Chormaic was founded in Tyrone seven years ago in memory of  the well-known Gael and All Star footballer, Cormac McAnallen. Cormac died in 2004 due to an unusual heart weakness.

The Camp is based on the interests of Cormac which include the Irish language, Gaelic games and native heritage.

This year’s camp will be in Coláiste Feirste. The first week will be beginning on the 30th July, ending on the 3rd August. The first week of the camp will be for young people recieving an Irish medium education.

The second week of the camp will commence on the 6th August and conclude on the 10th August. Everyone is welcome, especially those attending English medium schools.
