This year’s festival launch will be held in Gael-Ionad Mhic Goill, Glór na Móna with light
refreshments and entertainment to kick the festival off with a lively start. We will have the Right
Honourable, the Lord Mayor, Councillor Christina Black and Chief Executive of Foras na Gaeilge,
Seán Ó Coinn as our special guests who will launch the festival this year and who will also
commemorate special feats of activism which have occurred throughout the year.
