Campa Chormaic 2011

A chairde,

Campa Chormaic would like to offer all children (10-16yrs) at your club the opportunity to attend our summer camps at : CBS & St. Mary’s CBGS, Glen Road from 8th-12th August 2011 from 10am-3pm. Induction will take place on the first day at 9.30am in CBS.

Campa Chormaic runs summer camps for young Gaels in several counties as a living memorial to Cormac McAnallen, the former Tyrone senior captain who tragically died in 2004 from a heart condition. The camp combines central values and ideals of Cormac in a fun environment, and allows young people from 10-16yrs the opportunity to both learn and use the Irish language whilst enhancing their skills in Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie. During the camp students will undertake Irish lessons in the morning sessions, with Ulster Council coaches taking coaching sessions in the afternoon in Gaelic Games among other fun outdoor activities including a trip to Craigavon Water Sports.
