VLUU L200 / Samsung L200Bhí turas Gaeltachta ag lucht foghlamtha Ghlór na Móna i nGleann Cholm Cille ar an mhí seo chaite. Chuaigh muid in éineacht le muintir Ghaelphobal an tSráth Báin agus Glór an Ghleanna. Turas tumchónaithe a  bhí  gceist agus ó thaobh an smaointeoireachta a bhí taobh thiar de, solathraíonn sé deis do fhoghlaimeoirí iad féin a bádh sa Ghaeilge ar feabh deireadh seachtaine iomlán. Agus muid i dTír Chonaill, spreagadh gach duine an Ghaeilge a úsáid oiread agus is féidir. Ba é meana na deireadh seachtaine ná “Gaeilge más féidir, Béarla más gá”  agus chloí gach duine leis.

Baineadh an sult as an deireadh seachtaine le gach duine ag dul in aithne ar a chéile, scoth bith, craic, siamsaíocht agus cuideachta. Buíochas nach beag do ghach duine a bhí páirteach agus a chur leis an deireadh seachtaine go háirithe ár gcairde Gaelphobal ón tSráth Báin. An Ghaeilge Abú!

VLUU L200 / Samsung L200Glór na Móna’s learners attended a Gaeltacht trip in Glencolmcille last month. We went with Gaelphobal from Strabane and fellow Belfast natives Glór an Ghleanna. It was an immersion trip and with regards to the ideology behind it, it provides learners with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the language for a full weekend. Whilst visiting Donegal, everyone was encouraged to use their Irish as much as possible. The weekend’s motto was “Irish where possible,, English if neccessary” and everyone stuck with it.

The weekend was a thoroughly enjoyable one with eveyone getting to know one another, great food, craic, entertainmment and company. A big thank you to everyone who participated and made the weekend especially our friends at Gaelphobal. An Ghaeilge Abú!
