Bhí neart rudaí leis na páistí a choinneáil gnóthach agus iad páirteach i gCómhra 24 de chuid Conradh na Gaeilge, dioscó, preabchaisleáin, péinteálaithe aghaidhe, ealaíon agus ceardaíocht, , cogarnach na n-éan agus go leor leor eile.

10511311_751441128256189_8742920634495072565_nDúirt Conchúr Ó’Muadaigh as Fóram na n-Óg, “Bhí lá den chéad scoth againn a thaitin le chách agus chomhoibrigh an aimsir linn fiú. Idir na daoine óga, teaghlaidh agus na cumainn óige ar fad, bhí lá rathúil againn.”

The funday was held in Bunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh and Mol an Óige agus Tiocfaidh sí was the ethos of the day with young Gaels in attendence with both Irish medium youth clubs and families in order to partake in the festivities

10703517_751441048256197_4603613416364954905_nAccording to Glór na Móna’s Development Officer Brónagh Fusco “events of this nature are great for young Gaeilgeoir’s personal development and language skills 10710597_751441108256191_1627719620166868838_nas they can interact with their peers in an interactive and social way.”

There was plenty to keep the young Gaels entertained, they were part of Conradh na Gaeilge’s Cómhra 14, had  plenty of fun with a with disco, bouncy castles, face painters, obstacle courses, fun slides, arts and crafts allowing the young people to get better acquainted with the birds who make their home in the Falls Park.

Fóram na n-Óg’s Conchúr Ó Muadaigh said, “It was a great day enjoyed by all, even the weather co-operated with us.
